Wildwood Weed was founded by a small group of local legacy growers, some of whom have been perfecting their craft since the early 1980s. When legalization reshaped the industry and the legacy market began to fade, this experienced team set out to build a purpose-designed facility where they could continue growing premium cannabis—without compromise.

By March 2023, their vision became reality as they began cultivating once again. While many producers turned to export markets, Wildwood Weed chose a different path—to stay local and maintain full control over their product and customer relationships.

Located near the Saskatchewan border, the company is perfectly positioned to connect directly with retailers and consumers. From this vision, the Highmark brand was born—representing quality, craftsmanship, and community.
